Nighttime Lane Closures on I-95 Planned Near Perry Hall

The closures impact travelers in the area of White Marsh Boulevard.

Overnight lane closures are planned south of White Marh on Interstate 95.

Starting on Sunday, Oct. 19, there will be two lanes closed in I-95 in both directions during the evening hours so crews can work on paving the highway as part of the Express Toll Lanes project. The toll lanes are expected to be complete by December.

As the paving gets underway, two to three lanes of I-95 will be closed overnight between I-695 and the exit for MD Route 43/White Marsh Boulevard, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Closures will be in effect daily from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting, from Oct. 19 to mid-November.

Two lanes will be closed in I-95 during work period; and after 10 p.m., there may be three lanes closed, according to authorities, who said one or two lanes of travel on I-95 will remain open throughout the paving project.

Transportation officials advise drivers to consider taking Belair Road or US 40 as an alternate route.
