Officer Amy Caprio Honored In Ocean City
A boat in Ocean City displayed a banner in tribute to Officer Amy Caprio, who died investigating burglaries in Perry Hall.

OCEAN CITY, MD — A boat paying tribute to Officer Amy Caprio was spotted off the coast of Ocean City on Friday. Caprio died in the line of duty on May 21 while investigating a report of burglaries in a Perry Hall neighborhood.
It has been two months since Caprio was killed, and her friends and family were in Ocean City when the boat drove by with a banner that said: "We Love You. Never Forget."
A patrol boat owned by the Maryland Natural Resources Police escorted The Seaboard on Friday morning as it passed Caprio's loved ones off 143rd Street in Ocean City.

Operators of The Seaboard, a commercial vessel that advertises messages with banners along the water, told Patch that Corporal Eric Brennan of the Baltimore County Police Department contacted the company with the idea.
The Seaboard's owners said they donated the tribute in Caprio's honor, which was displayed on 143rd Street at 11:20 a.m. on Friday, July 20.

Four teens have been indicted in connection with Officer Caprio's death and are being held without bail.
"Continued prayers for her family, friends and our brothers and sisters in blue," the Maryland Natural Resources Police posted with a photo of the tribute to Officer Caprio in Ocean City.
