Perry Hall Kids Sport Purple Fu Manchu Mustaches

Gunpowder Elementary School hosted a Purple Friday pep rally in honor of the Baltimore Ravens.

students channeled their spirit into purple paper facial hair, à la quarterback , on Friday.

But the pretend Fu Manchu mustaches were just one component of the school's pep rally.

At about 10 a.m., students, kindergarten through second grade, lined up, sang the Ravens fight song, chanted and cheered. Another rally with the older children was planned for the afternoon.
