The Gators boast 10 wins out of 12 matches, including first place in an Overlea tournament.

Assistant coach Dustin Renner has one word to describe this season's : "Solid."

At 106 pounds, sophomore Zeke Salvo, also garnered attention during the Dulaney match. While Salvo is still ranked No. 2 for his weight group by the Maryland State Wrestling Association, he recently defeated No. 1 ranking Oakland Mills junior, Zach Hensley.

Salvo told Patch his secret to wins is good old-fashioned practice.

"I've just been wrestling a long time," he said.
