Police ID Man Fatally Shot Near Carney
BREAKING: Authorities have identified the man police said was killed Thursday morning after getting out of his car.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police have identified the man fatally shot Thursday near Carney.
Davon Lamar Fuqua, 32, of Swampscott Court, was gunned down while walking from his vehicle toward a building on Swampscott Court around 2 a.m., according to police.
At the time of the shooting, officials said that Fuqua was accompanied by his girlfriend, who was unharmed.

A stranger approached them, shot Fuqua once in the upper body and left, according to police. Officials believe the shooting was targeted.
As of Friday morning, authorities said they were still investigating the circumstances surrounding the case.
