Robbers Hold Up Gas Station, Steal Clerk's Car: Perry Hall Crime

The suspects used the victims' cars as getaway vehicles in three crimes committed this week in and around Perry Hall.

PERRY HALL, MD — The following information about recent crimes reported in Perry Hall was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. Among them are a woman carjacked and a gas station robbed at gunpoint, where the armed robbers also stole the clerk's vehicle and used it as the getaway car.

Four people carjacked a woman at gunpoint at 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31. They pulled up behind her in the unit block of Lincoln Woods Way then forced her out of her vehicle at gunpoint and took her vehicle.

A car key, license plate and vehicle were stolen during a home burglary in the 8800 block of Fox Circle. The burglary happened between 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, and 6 a.m. on Monday, July 29. The burglar was able to get inside because the resident left a door unlocked, police said, then used the car key found in the home to steal the vehicle from the front of the residence.

The Shell station in the 9700 block of Belair Road was held up, and the clerk was assaulted, according to police. Two people went into the store, assaulted the clerk at gunpoint, stole cash and cigarettes, then drove off in the clerk's vehicle. The armed robbery happened at 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 25.

A weedwacker and blower were stolen from a shed in the unit block of Moray Court. The shed burglary occurred between noon on Wednesday, July 24, and Wednesday, July 31.

Three juveniles assaulted a boy and took his phone on Magledt Road at Britmore Court. They had asked to borrow his phone and when he refused, they assaulted him and took the device. The assault and robbery occurred at 6:25 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23.
