Teen Charged In Stabbing Near Perry Hall HS
Police announced an arrest was made and that charges were filed in a stabbing incident that happened near Perry Hall High School.
PERRY HALL, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department announced Wednesday that an arrest was made in a stabbing incident that occurred near Perry Hall High School last week.
The department told Patch that a teenager was arrested and charged with first-degree assault for the March 13 incident.
A release issued by police confirmed that "while the incident was reported to a Baltimore County Police School Resource Officer, a preliminary investigation determined the assault took place off school grounds during a physical altercation involving multiple juveniles and the victim prior to the start of the school day."

Last week, police said a student had suffered a non-life-threatening injury in the altercation, which took place at the 4600 block of Ebenezer Road, just off school grounds.

A release issued by Perry Hall High School to parents noted officials weren't aware of the incident until about 7:45 a.m., when the injured student returned to school to be treated by a nurse. He was later treated at a hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
