Thick Snow Blankets Perry Hall, Closes Schools

UPDATE (5:45 a.m.)—Baltimore County has announced that schools will close today due to inclement weather. Officials at private schools decide to close at their own discretion.

Perry Hall Christian School is also closed, while CCBC Essex is scheduled to open at 11 a.m.

Today marks the fourth straight day off of school for children in Baltimore County, following yesterday's President's Day holiday.

After a projected 4-8 inches of heavy snow fell overnight, an additional half inch of snow is expected after 7 a.m. Tuesday. A high near 31 degreees is expected with a north wind of 9-11 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
