Weekend Outages: Perry Hall Homes, White Marsh Macy's

Power outages struck areas of Perry Hall and White Marsh this weekend—but none appeared directly related to weather.

Between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, a downed wire from a fallen branch at Cross Road and Forge Road caused around 200 customers to lose power, according to Rachael Lighty, spokesperson for .

The outages did not affect any traffic signals, Lighty said.

Another group of outages occurred at White Marsh Mall on Saturday evening, due to a problem with a cable line. Lighty said the exact time and duration of the outage was not immediately available.

It only impacted a few areas of the mall, including the Macy's department store, she said, but back-up generators allowed the store to remain open.
