White Marsh Jewelry Thief Suspected in 2 Cases: Police

A man is accused of stealing a $6,000 ring from White Marsh Mall and is also suspected in another theft case, Baltimore County police say.

WHITE MARSH, MD – Investigators are looking to identify the man suspected in a recent jewelry theft at White Marsh Mall, and they believe the same individual was responsible for a similar crime in Bowie.

Police said that the suspect asked to see a $6,000 ring from a display case in the Reeds Jewelers in White Marsh and when the employee handed it to him, he left the store. That occurred at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, police reported.

Officials said that the same man is believed to have been involved in a similar theft at the Kay Jewelers in Bowie Town Center.
