
Ali Tabrizchi, D.O., FACC, FSCAI, FACOI, a clinical interventional cardiologist at the Heart Center at Sinai of Baltimore in Maryland, has been recognized as one of America’s Most Compassionate Doctors.
Patients decide who receives this prestigious award are each year by providing online feedback about their experiences. Of the 870,000 active physicians in the United States, only five percent were chosen for this distinction in 2012.
Among the criteria doctors are evaluated on are bedside manner, one-on-one doctor/patient time, ease of setting appointments and the courtesy of the office staff. Patients also rate their overall impressions.

Every month, more than 200,000 people make comments to PatientsChoice.org, a resource for patients looking for quality care, which also administers the America’s Most Compassionate Doctors program.
This is the second year in a row that Dr. Tabrizchi has been chosen by his patients for this recognition. In addition to his clinical practice, he is also reaches out to the community and his colleagues, speaking on topics ranging from acute coronary syndrome, the primary versus secondary prevention of heart disease, the inflammatory biomarkers found in heart disease, and woman and heart disease.
