Kids Panning for Gold in the Middle of Sinai Hospital?

Check Out How Chai Lifeline Volunteers Brought the Old West to the Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai

There was a gold rush at the Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai last night thanks to an entourage of Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic volunteers. The kids actually panned for gold at a truly imaginative activity created by @chailifeline_midatlantic. The Chai Lifeline volunteers built a two-tier river with running water, and they put sand in it so the kids could search for buried treasure.

Yehuda Tanen, a Talmudical Academy student who is also a volunteer with Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic, came up with the idea. The organization constantly strives to raise the bar for what is possible to spark the imaginations of and to put smiles on the faces of children in the hospital. The volunteers host activities regularly #Sinai Hospital.

According to those there, this event was worth its weight in gold!
