The county says designs are only 30% complete and is still seeking community feedback.

Some impacted by out-of-control Pikesville bus crash frustrated with MTA over claims (cbsnews.com) — Residents and business owners in Pikesville are still struggling six weeks after an out-of-control MTA bus tore down Reisterstown Road at Old Court Road, injuring dozens and wrecking vehicles and storefronts. Some say their damaged cars and business signs remain unrepaired while the Maryland Transit Administration reviews whether it's responsible. Frustrated locals describe stalled claims, lost income, and emotional fallout as they wait for answers.
   

3. U.S. News & World Report ranks BCPS high schools among best in state and nation (nottinghammd.com) — Pikesville families can see how Pikesville High stacks up statewide, with the school ranked 82nd in Maryland in the latest U.S. News & World Report list. The rankings highlight strong performances across Baltimore County, including several top-10 high schools, and show how local schools' positions have shifted since 2025.
   

4. Baltimore County officer shot in Pikesville leaves rehab (wbaltv.com) — A Baltimore County police officer who was shot in the head while responding to a June 7 call in Pikesville has been released from rehab after two months of treatment. Officer P. Catalfamo, wounded during a response on the Gwynns Falls Trail, walked out to cheers from supporters and colleagues. His captain from the Pikesville precinct says he's eager to return to duty, while the accused shooter remains jailed without bail.
