BGR The Burger Joint Opening End of May

Potomac’s newest burger joint is coming to the Cabin John Shopping Center, but hungry customers will have to wait a little longer.

BGR The Burger Joint, which was originally expected to will now open near the end of May, said Mark Bucher, the founder of BGR The Burger Joint.

Bucher attributed the delays to “normal construction.” The expected opening day is around May 29, he added.

BGR The Burger Joint is opening at 7949 Tuckerman Ln. next to the CVS Pharmacy in Cabin John Shopping Center and will be the chain’s largest location. With a capacity for 80 people, Bucher said he hopes the location will be a destination for families and birthday parties.

The restaurant will not have any specials on opening day, but it will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Bucher said. The location is fully staffed with 25 employees.

BGR The Burger Joint specializes in a variety of burgers and also serves fries, onion rings and shakes. For the full menu, click here. The Potomac location will follow suite with its other locations and have a retro feel with rock and roll music, Bucher said in a previous interview.
