Park Potomac development in Potomac will hold its annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, Aug. 20, to benefit the Interfaith Works back-to-school backpack program for economically vulnerable schoolkids. The Interfaith Works program distributes more than 2,000 free, filled backpacks each year to children whose families shop for free at the Interfaith Clothing Center in Rockville.

The social begins with a car show at 11AM. Sundaes will be available for purchase at the event. Please bring a new backpack to donate. You will receive a chance to win one of many valuable and exciting prizes. There will be food trucks and a live band providing entertainment.
