• New Book Tells Story of Historic Black Community in Potomac and the Fight to Save It (mocoshow.com) — A new book chronicles Scotland, the historic Black community in Potomac, and the 1960s "Save Our Scotland" campaign that led to new housing along Seven Locks Road. The limited-edition volume, completed after years of research, debuts Nov. 7 at the Montgomery History conference in Germantown, with proceeds supporting Montgomery History and an after-school program serving Scotland youth.
