'Wings of Hope' Flies High at B'nai Tzedek (washingtonjewishweek.com) — A colorful community-made "Wings of Hope" artwork now hangs at Congregation B'nai Tzedek's Greenzaid Early Childhood Center in Potomac, created from donated toys by students, families, and congregants. Inspired by an Israeli artist killed on Oct. 7, the project teaches kids teamwork, sustainability, and resilience while connecting Potomac's Jewish community to Kfar Aza's story.

3. 50-year Montgomery County public servant Charles 'Chuck' Short, passes away. Alongside his government roles, he served on the board of Potomac Community Resources and other nonprofits, leaving a legacy of inclusion and support that directly touched families across Potomac and surrounding communities.
   

4. Americans through to finals on Day 3 of Acro Junior Worlds, World Youth Competitions • USA Gymnastics (usagym.org) — Several young acrobatic gymnasts from Potomac and nearby Montgomery County are competing on the world stage in Italy, with one Potomac-based women's group advancing to the finals. Their Xtreme Acro teammates from Potomac and Rockville also turned in solid performances, helping represent Maryland in the Acro Junior Worlds and World Youth Competitions.
