Suspect in fatal shooting at Potomac Woods Plaza remains at large (bethesdamagazine.com) — Police are still searching for the suspect who fatally shot a man early Sunday in the parking lot of Potomac Woods Plaza on Seven Locks Road in Potomac. The victim died at the scene despite lifesaving efforts, and homicide detectives are investigating while nearby businesses and residents await more details on the victim's identity and what led up to the shooting.
   

2. Gaithersburg Man Fatally Shot Following Confrontation Inside Restaurant (mocoshow.com) — A 33-year-old Gaithersburg man was fatally shot early Sunday outside Quincy's Potomac on Seven Locks Road after a confrontation that began inside the restaurant and continued by car near Fortune Terrace and Northside Park Boulevard. Montgomery County detectives say the suspect fired at both the victim and another person, who escaped and called 911, and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers.
   

3. Smithsonian Bringing Free Family Keepsake Preservation Program to Scotland Community in Potomac (mocoshow.com) — A free Smithsonian keepsake-preservation program is coming to the Scotland community in Potomac this Friday and Saturday, offering residents expert advice on caring for family photos, quilts, documents, and other treasures. Held at the Scotland Neighborhood Recreation Center, the event includes one-on-one reviews by preservation specialists plus a walk-in community expo with workshops, demonstrations, and activities for all ages.
