Potomac Resident Named Trustee Of The Children’s Inn At NIH

Potomac resident Todd Pantezzi has been named a trustee of The Children's Inn at NIH in Bethesda.

POTOMAC, MD - From the Children's Inn at NIH: Todd Pantezzi of Potomac, Maryland, a senior vice-president at ICF, a consulting and technology services provider, and the company’s U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) account executive, recently became a trustee of The Children’s Inn at NIH.

Pantezzi, who has been involved with The Inn since 2012, has served as chair of The Inn’s largest annual fundraiser, An Evening for Hope, for the past two years and will also serve as gala chair in 2018. Under his leadership, the 2017 gala alone raised close to $1 million.

Pantezzi was drawn to The Inn’s mission of helping families of children with rare or critical illnesses for whom a clinical trial at the NIH is a last hope after his own son, Trevor, passed away from cancer at the age of 2.

Originally focused on technology services, Pantezzi today works with federal health agencies including the HHS’ National Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration, and Centers for Disease Control & Prevention to use technology solutions to advance the research and prevention of disease. The firm has grown to become one of the most prolific prime contractors across HHS, one of its largest client.

Pantezzi entered the federal contracting industry in 1992 and served as an independent consultant from 1995-2001. He went on to lead HHS business development for SRA, now CSRA; Pearson, now GDIT; UnitedHealthGroup; and CSC, now CSRA.

Since 2003, Pantezzi has chaired the Professional Services Council’s HHS Vision program and is co-chair of the PSC’s HHS Task Force. He has also been a committee chair, moderator and/or panelist at multiple industry events, HHS agencies and The George Washington University.

Originally from Westchester County, New York, Mr. Pantezzi is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. He and his wife, Tracy Talbot, are the parents of five children. He is an avid cyclist, skier and photographer.
