Red Dress Ball with the Eric Felten Jazz Orchestra, Glen ECHO 2/13

Valentine's Day dance tonight at Glen Echo - proceeds to the American Heart Association Women's Heart Health initiative

One of our absolute favorites, The Eric Felten Jazz Orchestra, returns to Glen Echo Parkโ€™s Spanish Ballroom on Valentines weekend, Saturday, February 13th, for our annual Red Dress Ball, with proceeds going to the American Heart Association.

This classic 14-piece swing dance band features the original big band arrangements of Count Basie, Billy May, and Nelson Riddle in their performance of music from the great bands of the Big Band Era -- Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Harry James, Woody Herman, Lionel Hampton and more. Come hear what led the Washington Post to exclaim that they โ€œset a standard not easily matchedโ€ or what led PBS to feature the EFJO on their The Big Band Sound of WWII special!! . Visit EricFelten.com for music clips.

This is one evening you do NOT want to miss!!! Don your favorite red threads (casual or dressy -- you decide!), grab your dancing shoes, and round up your favorite partners for an evening of great music and fine dancing!! Lesson from 8:00 - 9:00 pm, Dancing from 9:00 - Midnight. Only $18 for all four hours -- best deal in town!!!
