2 Men Killed In Norbeck Road Collision Identified

The two 24-year-olds killed in a weekend car crash were identified by the Montgomery County Police Department.

ROCKVILLE, MD — The identities of the two persons killed over the weekend in a car crash were released Tuesday by police.

A release issued by the Montgomery County Police Department identified the two individuals as Abraham D. Huracaya Del Aguila, of Silver Spring, and Alexander J. Medrano Cangalaya, of Rockville.

Both men, who were 24 years old, were passengers in a 2025 BMW M8 that veered off the road and crashed into a trench.

A third person, the driver, was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The fatal collision occurred near the intersection of Norbeck Road and East Gude Drive on Sunday, just after 3 a.m.

Police said the car left the eastbound Norbeck Road lanes, crossing the median and hitting a curb, a pedestrian signal, and several trees before overturning into a trench off the roadway's westbound lanes.

Investigators have not said what prompted the driver to veer off the roadway. The investigation remains ongoing.
