Video: Cars Go Up In Flames As Home Sustains Damage

Firefighters were on the scene Monday after three cars caught fire, sustaining serious damage as one home's siding was impacted by the heat.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Three cars went up in flames in Rockville on Monday, authorities said.

Video shared from the scene showed flames consuming two cars as firefighters worked the area, ultimately extinguishing the fire.

Details released by the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service indicated that a vehicle fire damaged three cars, and that the siding of one home melted due to the heat.

Pete Piringer, spokesperson of the MCFRS, said the incident occurred on Monet Drive, off Hurley Avenue, around 4 p.m.

No injuries were reported at the scene.
