Watch: Wootton School Shooting Briefing Held By Rockville Police

The Rockville City Police Department held a briefing Tuesday, giving an update on the latest in the Thomas S. Wootton High School shooting.

ROCKVILLE, MD — The Rockville City Police Department on Tuesday held a news conference to provide the public with an update on the latest findings on the shooting that took place at the Thomas S. Wootton High School.

The conference was held at the Rockville City Hall.

Rockville City Police Chief Jason West, Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy, Montgomery County Sheriff Maxwell Uy and Montgomery County Police 1st District Commander Capt. Jordan Satinsky took part in the briefing.

A bond hearing for Kahlil White-Villatoro, the 16-year-old student charged as an adult for the shooting, is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Montgomery County District Court.

A preliminary hearing is expected to take place Feb. 20 at 9:30 a.m.
