• Anne Arundel County Police Sergeant Facing Child Sex Abuse Charges (patch.com) — Severna Park residents are learning that a longtime Anne Arundel County police sergeant has been arrested and charged with multiple child sex offenses after a state police investigation. Authorities say the alleged abuse occurred in January at his home, and the officer is now suspended without pay and held without bond as the case moves toward upcoming court hearings.
