2 Felony Rape Suspects Wanted In MoCo Apprehended At VA Airport: CBP

DULLES, VA — Two men wanted in Maryland on felony rape charges were apprehended last week at Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia.

On Thursday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers took 28-year-old Adam Aguilar into custody as he was about to board a flight to El Salvador.

Officers took Aguilar, an El Salvadoran man illegally present in the U.S., back to the CBP inspection station, where they confirmed he was wanted by Montgomery County Police on felony strong-arm and 2nd degree rape charges, 3rd degree sex offenses, and 2nd degree assault charges. Aguilar was then turned over to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police.

On Friday, CBP officers took into custody 25-year-old Frank Miguel Morillo, a naturalized U.S. citizen from the Dominican Republic. Having been deported from Bogota, Columbia and under the escort by Columbian immigration authorities, Morillo was handed over to CBP officers.

Once the officers had confirmed Morillo's identity and that he was wanted in Montgomery County for felony first degree rape, they turned him to over to MWAA police.

“Customs and Border Protection officers are pleased to assist our law enforcement partners find justice for victims by apprehending allegedly dangerous fugitives fleeing through or arriving at our nation’s Ports of Entry,” said Christine Waugh, CBP’s acting area port director at the Area Port of Washington, D.C. “Our border security authority is one way in which CBP helps make our communities a little bit safer.”
