2 Missing 16-Year-Olds From Silver Spring May Be Together: Police

Montgomery County Police believe that two 16-year-olds from Silver Spring last seen on Aug. 15 may be together.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Silver Spring, who may be traveling with another 16-year-old reported missing more than a week ago.

Hailey Welch was last seen on Aug. 15 in the 12000 block of Tamarack Road. She is described as standing 5-foot-3, with a thin build, brown hair, and brown eyes, according to police.

No information was available on what clothes Welch was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

Police believe that Welch may be with Hagan Rousseau, who was reported missing on Aug. 22.

Rousseau was last seen around 9:30 p.m., on Aug. 15, at the Dunkin Donuts located at 11400 New Hampshire Ave. in Silver Spring.

Police described Rousseau as standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans and a black shirt, according to police.
