$31K MD Lottery Win For Takoma Park Man At Silver Spring Market
A Takoma Park man won $31,796.50 recently playing the Maryland Lottery's Racetrax game at his favorite Silver Spring market.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 66-year-old plumber who described himself as a big fan of the Maryland Lottery won big playing Racetrax at his favorite convenience store in Silver Spring recently.
Rafael Reynoso of Takoma Park told lottery officials that he plays games like Racetrax and scratch-offs as a hobby, saying it's a “quick distraction from life.” But the hobby recently became more than a distraction when he won more than $31,000 playing at the Ertters Market located at 521 Dale Drive in Silver Spring.
“I spent my extra change from lunch to play,” Reynoso said. “When I noticed I won, I couldn’t believe it because this is the second time I won with the perfect numbers and the first time winning Superfecta.”

In order to win on a Superfecta Wheel, a player's horses must cross the finish line in the exact order. Randomly selecting horses 6 and 7 for the No. 1 position, then the 9, 11, 4 for the second, third, and fourth positions and betting on those numbers for 10 games, Reynoso won $31,796,50 when his horses crossed the finish line in the exact order.
Reynoso plans to use his winnings to help his family, saving as much as he can for a rainy day.
