Silver Spring Wellness & Recovery Center, a program of Affiliated Sante Group, is excited to present the Anti Stigma Project of On Our Own of Maryland, "An Inside Look At Stigma" Thursday April 28, 2011, from 3 to 5p.
The consequences of internalized (mental health) stigma can be devastating, including low self-esteem, isolation, and hopelessness. Through this interactive workshop, participants will learn to recognize, prevent, and overcome this problem - which is very common for people diagnosed with mental health conditions.
