Each year members of the American Cichlid Association come together to learn, show, share and see all things cichlids. This year's Convention will be hosted at the Crowne Plaza Washington DC-Silver Spring by Capital Cichlid Association on 21-24 July 2011. ACA 2011 will feature internationally known speakers, including TV show host Zeb Hogan, a massive Fish and Art Show, Vendors and a huge Auction. 

The ACA is a  non-profit focused on education, conservation and fellowship of enthusiasts of cichlid fish and consists of nearly 1,000 aquarists and scientists from around the globe.
