On February 15 from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington (POB) will host an event featuring NIH ophthalmologist Rachel Bishop at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center at Forest Glen to discuss how changes in the eye may be connected to coronary
artery disease, stroke, diabetic retinopathy and other cardiac conditions. Free glaucoma screenings will also be available by appointment from 10 a.m.-12: 30 p.m. This event is
