First Degree Murder Arrest Warrant Issued In Silver Spring Case

Montgomery County Police are looking for a 20-year-old Montgomery Village man in connection with a July 5 fatal shooting in Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Homicide detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police have identified a suspect in the July 5 fatal shooting 40-year-old Cedric Warner of Silver Spring.

Police are asking the public's help in locating 20-year-old Lawrence Marcellus Marshall IV of Montgomery Village who is wanted in connection with Warner's homicide.

Investigators obtained an arrest warrant, charging Marshall with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting that took place in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. Tips may remain anonymous.
