Friday Is The First 'TGIF Downtown Street Party' In Silver Spring
Residents are invited to the Fountain Plaza for a fun night of games, music, drinks, dancing and more.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Friday kicks off the first TGIF Downtown Street Party series in downtown Silver Spring. Silver Spring residents are invited to unwind after a long week with a night of music, games, drink stations, dancing and more.
Friday's event will feature beer and sangria stations by Nando's Peri Peri and Lincoln's BBQ. DJ Damon will spin the tunes while residents enjoy games like cornhole and delicious food. Residents can also win prizes like movie tickets, gift cards and more.
The community party will take place on the second Friday of every month throughout the summer. The dates are as followed: June 9, July 14, August 11 and September 8 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on the Fountain Plaza.
