Identity Of Man Shot In Apartment Stairwell In Silver Spring Released By MoCo Police
Montgomery County Police identified an 18-year-old Gaithersburg man as the victim in Sunday night's fatal shooting in Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police identified 18-year-old Jalahni Antonio Harrington of Gaithersburg as the victim in Sunday night's fatal shooting in Silver Spring, according to a release.
Officers responded around 7:20 p.m., on Sunday to an apartment building at 2001 Treetop Lane for the report of a shooting. Police located Harrington in a stairwell suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to the release.
Officers provided first aid until Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel arrived, according to police. Harrington was pronounced dead on the scene.
