Missing 85-Year-Old Silver Spring Woman Last Seen On Wednesday: Police

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police detectives are asking the public's help in locating 85-year-old Mary Lee Overton of Silver Spring, according to a release.

Overton was last seen around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Hanover Street and Grace Church Road area. Police say that she may be traveling to downtown Silver Spring or Friendship Heights.

Police described Overton as standing about 5-foot-5, with brown eyes and gray hair. When she was last seen, Overton was wearing a black jacket and brown pants.

Anyone with information about Overton's location is asked to call the 24-hour, police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. Callers do not need to identify themselves.
