Cameras Hidden In Silver Spring Airbnb Lead To Arrest Of Homeowner's Twin Brother
A Texas couple alerted police after they found cameras hidden inside the bedroom they rented in Silver Spring through Airbnb.

SILVER SPRING, VA — A Texas couple contacted Montgomery County Police after they discovered hidden cameras inside the bedroom they rented through Airbnb last year in Silver Spring.
After the two guests arrived on Aug. 8, 2022 at the residence in the 1100 block of Dale Drive, they found hidden cameras inside smoke detectors in both the rental's bedroom and bathroom, according to police. The couple traveled to the Target store on Cherry Hill Road in Silver Spring, where the contacted MCDP.
Investigators responded to the location and talked to the homeowner, who told them he was not aware of the hidden cameras. The homeowner allowed police to search the residence and told them that two other people lived there, a male resident and the homeowner's twin brother, according to police. With the male resident's permission, officers searched his room and found another camera hidden in the smoke detector.

Larry Goisse, whom police identified as the homeowner's twin brother, denied the officer's request to search his bedroom. After obtaining a search and seizure warrant, the entire residence was searched, including the Goisse's bedroom. There the officers found drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine and other pieces of evidence that linked Goisse to the crimes being investigated, according to police.
On Feb. 2, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Goisse, which charged him with peeping tom, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal installation of visual surveillance in private areas, according to police.

After picking Goisse up from a New Jersey correctional facility on Aug. 17, officers transported him to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he was held without bond.
