13-Year-Old Boy Missing From Takoma Park Found Safe (UPDATED)

(Updated) TAKOMA PARK, MD — Oscar Avalos was found safe, Takoma Park police announced Tuesday afternoon.

Detectives from the Takoma Park Police Department are investigating the disappearance of a 13-year-old Takoma Park boy.

Oscar Avalos was last seen by his mother on May 18 in the 600 block of Houston Ave., police said.

Police describe Avalos as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'6 and 130 pounds. Anyone who has information about Avalos' whereabouts is asked to contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #170508725.
