22-Year-Old Takoma Park Man Arrested For Drug Dealing
A Takoma Park man was arrested for dealing marijuana and possession of items stolen from a vehicle in DC.
TAKOMA PARK, MD — A 22-year-old Takoma Park man was recently arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of items from a theft in DC, police told Patch.
Takoma Park Police Department's Special Assignment Team received numerous complaints about drug activity in the 1100 block of Linden Ave., police said.
An investigation revealed Takoma Park resident Christopher Green was involved in the drug activity at this location, police told Patch, and a search warrant was obtained for his residence.

With the assistance of the Emergency Response Team from both Takoma Park and Laurel City, entry was made into Green’s residence. Officers searched Green's residence and found an amount of marijuana indicative of an intent to distribute, police said.
Other items of evidentiary value were seized in connection with the intent to sell drugs, as well as items from a theft from auto that occurred in the District of Columbia, police said.

Green’s vehicle was seized pending a search and seizure warrant, police said. Green was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without incident.
