Joslin Diabetes Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School and the
world’s preeminent diabetes care, research and education center, will convene
hundreds of leaders and innovators in diabetes and obesity care and prevention
at its 2nd Annual Diabetes Innovation Congress on October 3rd-5th
at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Diabetes Innovation 2013 will bring together members of the patient,
payer, provider and purchasing communities, as well as academia, industry and
government, for an open exchange of ideas to work toward finding new solutions
to catalyze improvements in the health system. Nearly 500 delegates
representing these various constituencies attended the 2 ½ days and 40+
keynotes, interactive panels, exhibits and other sessions in 2012. In addition
to the educational sessions, delegates had an opportunity for a hands-on look
at the latest technologies, innovations and advancements in the Congress’
networking lounge from leading companies and solutions providers that have a
stake in seeing diabetes care improve.
