3 Men Wanted For Takoma Park Assault

Police are searching for three men involved in an assault of a man with a knife in Takoma Park.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park Police detectives are searching for three males involved in an attempted robbery and assault on University Boulevard.

At about 3:28 a.m. May 13, a man parked his vehicle on the service road in the 1300 block of University Blvd., police said. When the man got out of his car, he was approached by three men demanding property.

One of the men displayed a knife and attempted to stab the victim three times, police said, and in one of the attempts he cut the man's arm and shoulder. The men then fled and the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police told Patch.

Police describe the first suspect as a light-skinned Hispanic male who is 5’2, 160 pounds and has black hair and a thin mustache and goatee. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 6’2, who was last seen wearing a white button-down shirt and blue jeans. The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’2.
