
Montgomery Preservation Inc. invites the public to nominate individuals and groups who, through personal or community action and efforts, have made significant contributions to the preservation of Montgomery County’s historic resources and landscapes; for the “Montgomery County Historic Preservation Award”. These awards present an opportunity for Community and Civic organizations, as well as individuals, to recognize significant preservation efforts in all districts and cities in Montgomery County.
Nominations may be submitted in print, or as an electronic file (MsWORD) via email to mpi@montgomerypreservation.org. Electronic photos should be sent in separate files. Please label all photos with the nominee name, date, and any other relevant information.
Selection is solely the responsibility of Montgomery Preservation Inc. and the officers of its executive body. Montgomery Preservation Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting, Montgomery County’s rich architectural heritage and historic landscapes. Our public services include the Annual Historic Preservation Awards, community open houses
and workshops, and preservation advocacy.
The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2013 Montgomery County Awards for Historic Preservation is Monday, October 14, 2013. The Awards presentation will be hosted by Montgomery Preservation Inc. in the Historic Silver Spring Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Station, 8100 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD on Saturday December 7, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
