On Saturday, January 21st, 2012, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Metro DC Chapter held its annual Capital CotY (Contractor of the Year) awards ceremony. Eighty-three projects built by thirty-seven of the Washington Metro area’s top remodeling firms received recognition and awards for creativity and craftsmanship. The awards were given in twenty-nine categories, ranging from “Best Creative Solutions Under $15,000” to “Best Custom Home Over $1 Million.”
Landis Design/Build received five awards plus one honorable mention, which include: the Grand Award for a Custom Home Over $1,000,000, the Grand Award for a Residential Exterior $100,000 and Over, a Merit Award for an Entire House $500,000 to $1,000,000, a Merit Award for a Residential Addition $250,000 to $500,000, a Merit Award for a Residential Kitchen $100,000 to $150,000, and an Honorable Mention for a Residential Bath $30,000 to $60,000.
