An amazing and beautiful exhibition of miniature art is currently on display at The Mansion at Strathmore, 10701 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20852. The show includes 674 miniature works of art by 264 artists. No work is larger than 25 square inches. Many works require a magnifying glass to be able to see and appreciate the fine detail. Magnifying glasses are available for close examination. The exhibition runs through December 29.
The exhibition is presented by The Miniature Painters, Sculptors & Gravers Society of Washington, DC (MPSGS), the oldest miniature art society in th U.S. and the second oldest in the world.
