USG Honors Graduating Seniors for Exemplary Achievement and Leadership

The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) honored 25 graduating seniors for their outstanding academic achievement, drive to excel outside of the classroom, and commitment to serving the community on April 12. The students, who are enrolled in various undergraduate programs offered at USG by its nine partner universities, accepted their awards at the USG 9^th Annual Student Achievement and Leadership Breakfast. USG also honored notable faculty and staff for their above-and-beyond commitment and work done on the campus.

Atefeh Fathnezhad

Atefeh Fathnezhad, a University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) student from Germantown, Md., is one of 25 graduating seniors who were honored for their academic achievement and community leadership at the USG 9^th Annual Student Achievement and Leadership Breakfast on April 12.

Elizabeth Wright -- a Towson University, The Department of Special Education faculty -- was among several faculty and staff who were honored for their outstanding commitment to USG and students at the USG 9^th Annual Student Achievement and Leadership Breakfast on April 12.
