Armed Robber Targets Takoma Park Business: Police

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a business on Carroll Avenue Friday night.

At about 10 p.m., officers responded to the 7300 block of Carroll Ave for the report of an armed robbery. Police say an armed suspect entered through the rear door of a business and demanded money from employees inside.

Police K-9 tracked to the 400 block of Ethan Allen before losing the track. Police describe the suspect as a black male, 5'07"-5'10", 160-170 pounds, who has facial hair stubble. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black mask and had a black handgun.
