The warrant was in relation to a multi-agency undercover investigation that is being conducted in conjunction with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland. The investigation was initiated in September of 2016 in response to an increase in violent crime and drug activity in the area, police said. Local, county and federal investigators worked together and spent countless hours conducting surveillance and proactive enforcement activity in order to develop probable cause for the federal search warrant.
