Car Stolen Outside Of Home In Takoma Park

Police are searching for unknown suspects who stole an Audi parked in front of the victim's home, police said.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park Police are looking for unknown suspects who stole an Audi that was parked in front of the victim's home.

At about 7:15 a.m. Thursday, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7200 block of Garland Avenue for a report of a theft from auto and stolen auto.

On Wednesday at approximately 5 p.m., the victim parked one of his vehicles in front of his home. Unknown suspect(s) rifled through the vehicle and stole property, which included a key to another of the victim's vehicles, police said.

On Thursday, the key was used by the suspect(s) to steal the victim's second vehicle, described as a black 2013 Audi Q5, MD Tag #3AZ2982, police said.

The outstanding vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) stolen vehicle database. Investigation continues under case #170505811. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301-270-1100.
