On Thursday, April 11 at 6pm at the Carlyle Club in Alexandria, VA, we'll party like James Bond while we learn about creativity from a real spy. Everyone is welcome, but RSVP's are required. At this exclusive event for DC’s premier social club,
DC Global Adventurers, we'll have 007-themed cocktail drinks, games, a served dinner, and a talk by a retired CIA operations officer.
We'll start things off during the cocktail hour with a fun spy-themed game to help guests get to know one another (and themselves) a little better. In the game, you'll test your spy skills while meeting the other guests....one of which is our secret guest speaker.
With a super-cool venue, Bond music, spy games and free martinis, this night will be one for the spy party history books. Full served dinner and 007 martini or cosmo included. A full bar will be available for purchasing more drinks on your own.
Our secret guest speaker is a retired CIA officer who served undercover with the CIA during his 30-year career, serving in fun places like Brazil to not-so-fun places like Russia during the Cold War. Come hear some of the humorous stories that happened in the real world of espionage and of the very deadly aspects of handling Russian agents in Moscow. Learn how a CIA officer targets a foreigner for recruitment and the six reasons someone becomes a spy.
This event includes:
- A fun, spy game played by guests during cocktail hour
- One 007 Martini or Cosmopolitan
- Served 3-course meal including all non-alcoholic drinks, taxes and tips

- James Bond spy party after dinner
Schedule: Doors open at 6pm. Cocktail hour and spy games will be played 6:30-7:30pm. Dinner will be served 7:30-8:30. Talk by Guest Speaker 8:30-9. Spy party continues 9pm-11:30pm. Please plan to arrive by 6:30pm at the latest.
