NIH Community Orchestra Presents: Musical Time Travel (Plus a World Premiere)

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Community Orchestra presents “Musical Time Travel (Plus a World Premiere)”. The performance, which is sponsored by the NIH Recreation and Welfare Association, is free of charge and parking is free as well. Donations are welcome and benefit the charities of the NIH.

The concert will feature a combination of the “new” and the “old,” including the world premiere of Psalms by Washington area composer Timothy Dusenbury, Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 and other classical music selections. The 60-member all volunteer Orchestra is in its second decade of bringing classical music to nursing homes, schools, and other venues throughout the area.
