Man Arrested For Destroying Property Inside Takoma Park 7-11

A Gaithersburg man was arrested for throwing and breaking items in a Takoma Park 7-11, police said.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — A Gaithersburg man was arrested by the Takoma Park Police for malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct in a 7-11 Tuesday night, police told Patch.

At about 7:45 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to a call at the 7-11 in the 1300 block of University Boulevard.

When they arrived at the scene, they found a man—identified as Kenneth Barnhouse, 33—destroying property inside the store, police said.

A police spokesperson told Patch Barnhouse was throwing items around the store and breaking them. A 7-11 employee then called 911.

Barnhouse was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, police said.
