Man Arrested For Trespassing In Takoma Park: Police
Neighbors called police to report a man walking through yards. A resident then found Dureyea Rashad Collier in his garage, police said.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Police arrested a Woodbridge, Va. man for burglary and trespassing in Takoma Park.
At about 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 7200 block of Holly Ave. for the report of a suspicious subject. A victim was approached by Dureyea Rashad Collier, 29, who asked if the victim had any rooms to rent in their home, police said.
The victim told Collier he didn't have any rooms, and Collier walked away down Tulip Avenue. The victim lost sight of Collier and walked to his garage, which is detached from his home. When he opened the garage, he located Collier, police said.

Collier was asked to leave the garage and he complied. Nothing was stolen, police said. Several other residents in the area called police to report Collier walking around backyards.
Collier was charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing. He was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without incident, police said.
